April’s Tears

‘April’s Tears’ … we’ve had so much rain this April but things are starting to turn a corner … this artwork depicts April and her tears, nourishing the earth and giving us green again.

This beautiful artwork is inspired by Margaret Mackintosh of the Glasgow Girls. Her beautiful, whimsically crafted artworks have been a favourite of mine forever so I loved the idea of paying homage to her inspiration by creating this gorgeous piece.

Measuring 10” x  14” in size and painted on 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper, this work has the most delicate gold leaf detailing. A stunning addition to your art collection.
